A Quick Update While I Have A Few Minutes To Myself

Name: Eily Edith

Weight: 6 lbs. 14 oz. (At her 2 week check-up she weighed in at a whopping 7 lbs. 11 oz.) Mommy has some GOOD milk!

Length: 20 inches

Looks like: A really beautiful mixture of Elaina and Claire.

Reaction: Elaina loves to help tend to her every need and Claire is flat-out obsessed with her.

Light, Shining and Bright

I'm looking around on the internet once again for a name. One thing I have discovered (it's shameful I didn't know this already) is that Elaina and Claire's names both mean light, shining, etc...
It would be neat if I could find another name with that meaning. So if any of you know a name off the top of your head please let us in on it. The problem I keep coming up with is that the ones I have found are very similar to Elaina and Claire. (Go figure.)

We have finally, officially, decided on a name. There was much debating as whether Edith flowed better as a first name or middle name with Isabella or Adelaide. It was strongly desired by one that Edith not be the first name but it just sounded weird as a middle name with those particular choices. All day today I surfed the Internet looking at other names. Hard work paid off and success is mine...

Thoughts bouncing around...

I don't know what to post. But something.
It's an erie feeling, this being alone. Elaina is being intertained by Nanny and Pappy's collection of Disney movies. Claire is sleeping. Jason is at home painting. No one is pulling on my leg, trying to crawl into my lap, shouting my name as loud as they possibly can, you get the picture. But I'm not really alone. Baby #3 is all safe and snug inside. He/she is my constant companion and that is the feeling I enjoy the most from pregnancy. No one can ask to hold them. No can ask to play with them. Nothing. They are my possession for the moment. Rather nice. Once they are here I'm usually very glad for others to occupy their time. Especially when there is more than one. It's a big help. But right now, I love that no matter where I go, I've got a buddy. Like I said before. Rather nice.

The amount of posting that has been done on this blog as of late is quite embarassing.
