Future Plans

For about a year I have been dreaming and planning of a future -special- anniversary trip. Not thinking clearly at the time, we planned our wedding to take place in the winter. There seems to be a lot less choices of places to go in the winter unless you are terribly fond of skiing. For some reason or another (probably saw a movie or something) Vermont has embedded itself in my dreams and will not leave. I see sleigh rides and snow and hot choclate,etc... So, for several months I searched the internet trying to find the perfect B&B for us to stay at. After MUCH deliberation I have decided. Winham Hill Inn. Then I went a step farther..or is it further?... and picked the exact room I want to stay in. White Barn, North Loft. Those of you that know me are probably thinking to yourself, "Of course she picked that room. Look at the cost." But I don't care, I tell you. It's my dream and it can be whatever I want. I am quite aware that this trip will probably never happen but "I can dream, can't I?" It's beautiful and romantic and if Jason is so inspired, he can go out on our (private) deck in the freezing cold and paint a beautiful snow scene. There is a lot to do in the surrounding area also. Now I'm going to go take a nap and dream of my beautiful Vermont.

Elaina wanted to go outside today so bad and because of the weather I couldn't take Claire out. Pappy saved the day and stopped by on his way home for a little fun in the sun..er...cold.

Today feels like Christmas is coming so I'm watching Holiday Inn and getting myself all pumped up for the holiday season-which has already passed. Snow does crazy things to people.

Today Alli came over and helped me paint letters to hang in Elaina and Claire's rooms.

We have a home again!!

After a good month of living out of boxes and tubs we are finally in our new house. We have had requests for "a tour" so here goes... (Please keep in mind that everything is crazy right now but it WILL be clean one day! :)) Double click on the pictures to see them larger.

I would like to add to the last post that my older sister is having a boy. I finally have an excuse to buy those little sweaters!!!!!!!!

Nardo is expecting a girl!!!!!! The last I heard the name of choice was Lilly Kathleen. (I'm not sure of the spelling.)

Tomorrow is Jason's last day to be a Tennessee man. The rest of us are joining him in Arkansas after Christams. It's hard to make leave the family here but at the same time we are excited to join the family in Arkansas. Pray for everyone here as it is extra hard for them to loose their grandbabies, great-grandbabies, nieces, cousins, etc...

I want to write a post about how much I love my cousins, Molly and Kathryn. I loooooove you guys a manillion times more than you realize. (We even considered naming Claire- Molly Kathryn- but were afraid some would think that was taking things a bit to far.) Just know that you are in our hearts ALWAYS!!!
