I have a new niece as of 8 something this morning. Lily Karen Sacran is her name. I won't get to see her until Christmas but I'll just soak an extra amount of lovin' from her then. That makes two Lily/Lillie nieces for me. I'll just say Lillie with an "e" and Lily with a "y". Maybe it will make them feel like Anne. When I was a little girl and someone made me feel like Anne I felt like I was the version of me that I had always wanted to be.
Who is Anne?
ReplyDeleteInterestingly, the other Lillie (Moseley) was named for her great-great-grandmother. However, we are not completely sure how her name was spelled, having seen it Lily, Lillie and Lillye.
