An update

So today I was determined to get that elliptical started. I braved up and asked the lady next to me what to do. Do you want to know her reply?

"Just start moving your feet. It will automatically come on."

I felt so bright.

Not.

Confession

Every single time I go to the gym I go to the stair machine, stand there confused and eventually walk away defeated.

I can't turn it on.

Sitting.

I am in the Chicago airport all alone. Kathryn's plane leaves Nashville after 4pm and once she gets here I will have a playmate but until then it's just me and the strangers. What should I do to entertain myself?

But before I can do any of that I have to go mow another patch of the backyard. And then I have to fix lunch. And then I have to get Eily in bed. And then I have to clean the kitchen again. And then I have to get Elaina and Claire working on a project. So maybe I used the words "about to" a little too loosely in that last post.

A Day of Clothing

Today we having clothing everywhere but tomorrow it will all be gone. Isn't change nice? I have to drop off all the clothing that is on the couch to the Growing Kids Sale and the clothes on the coffee table are about to be put away. The clothes on the dryer are about to be priced and taken to Alisha's house. The clothing piled in the corner of the living room is about to be priced and taken away as well. The pile of clothing on the floor in the dining room is about to be washed, folded and put away. The clothing on top of the pile of clothes in the living room is about to be ironed. It's just a clothing kind of day.

What's the lablel of your day?

Elaina's New Bike

We had decided that Elaina had outgrown her bike and Claire had most assuredly outgrown the other bikes. There was a sale going on at Toys 'R Us so we went ahead and purchased the new bike thinking it would be well received. It was well received but it isn't well ridden. I take that back. It is ridden by everyone except Elaina. She is scared to death by the height and the fact that the training wheels let it lean a little from side to side. Claire will take off on that thing. On the bright side, the bike she had before, the one that she wouldn't touch b/c it was too high, is now her favorite thing to ride. Next we'll be buying a tractor so that she will ride the new bike.

Claire and Daddy's Date

A couple of weeks ago Claire and Daddy had a special date. There was no reason for the date other than to enjoy each other's company. They were planning on eating and then going skating. The skating rink was closed so they ended up at the park. As far as I could tell they both had a wonderful time.

HA!

Now he just offered to buy our car for $200.

I just had to laugh out loud.

Bonjour!

Cody is outside talking to the girls and I was out there a minute ago to hear what their conversation was about. He informed me that Jason looks like a french man and then he pointed to Elaina and said that she looked a little french as well. I'm guessing his observation had something to do with Jason's hat.

I just had to laugh out loud.

Some Facts.

I hurt. Everywhere. I did a kickboxing class yesterday and I am feeling it all over the place. I didn't really like kickboxing and I don't think that I'll do it again but apparently it does work your body. Even the bottom of my feet are sore.

Eily is so clingy. Too clingy. But I sitll love her.

Claire got a new haircut. She looks a lot better.
Eily did not. She does not.

I have loads and loads of laundry to do and I don't want to do them because my neck is stiff and sore.

Our church meeting is this weekend. :)

I got a pedicure in TN a couple of weeks ago and the color exactly matches my new shirt from Anthropologie. Who'd a thunk?

Life can be hard sometimes. It's amazing how much you can hurt for a friend/friends.

Elaina was sobbing earlier because she didn't want me to tell Jason that she had gotten in trouble for saying boo to Claire after Claire had asked her to stop several times. She didn't say anything about not telling you.

Eily could easily be potty trained right now but I'm too lazy to do it. I'm going to wait until May. There is just too much going on this month. I can't be consistent unless we are home a lot.

I love the smell of Jason's deoderant.

I want to nap but feel guilty about the dirty laundry. Apparently being on the computer is a nice medium. I don't understand myself.

A Plea for Understanding

I promise I haven't forgotten, it's just that I'm busy. Really, I am. The kind of busy that makes your chest feel heavy and your head feel like it's getting closer and closer to the top of the water- but you are heading down, not up.

It may be sporadic between yesterday and the end of this month but if I can just get there, I'll post till your eyes get dizzy and you are seeing spots.

Happy April Fools and Happy Birthday, Nana!!
